Post Colonial Cannibal is a new character from Let Me Feel Your Finger First the comic art project that disseminates comics, animation, live and web-based work.

Following the sucess of The Uncle Hans-Peter Party at Supernormal Festival in 2010, LMFYFF will be returning to the festival this year with a new lecture performance which will present and discuss the development of the new animated character.

Supernormal is an unfunded, not-for-profit project run and organised by a small network of artists, musicians and volunteers. It’s aim is to bring experimental and cult music, visual arts and performance together to explore and reshape the festival format through collective action. With a great visual arts programme lined up Supernormal is asking for just £65 for a full weekend camping ticket which can be purchased here. The festival runs from 19 to 21 August at Braziers Park in Oxfordshire with Post-Colonial Cannibal taking place at 7pm on Friday 19 August in the Old Barn.

LMFYFF’s forthcoming Projects also include a solo show at studio1.1 gallery in November 2011, showing new work in the exhibition BACKHANDER. BACKHANDER will feature two new animations including Ontologically Anxious Organism (Episode Two) which will simultaneously premiere online at animateprojects.org. Keep posted for more details…

Until then you can watch LMFYFF’s interview and AnimateTV film Francis on animateprojects.org, both made in 2007.
