Self Made plus Q&A with Gillian Wearing

In her extraordinary debut feature British artist Gillian Wearing poses pressing questions about individual identity and the way it functions in society as a daily performance. Mostly using the Method acting technique with the aid of Method specialist Sam Rumbelow, seven people create a series of individual vignettes exposing who they really are deep down – or who, in another version of their lives, they might easily have been.
Curzon will be welcoming director Gillian Wearing and Method specialist Sam Rumbelow to hmvcurzon Wimbledon for a Q&A after the screening.
The screening takes place 6.25 pm, Friday 2 September.
