Joseph Pelling
Our Featured Artist for February is animator and illustrator Joseph Pelling. Part of the London based THIS IS IT collective, Joseph co-directed (with fellow member Becky Sloan) Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared, their twisted take on children’s TV, recently selected for Sundance Film Festival. The Colouring (made with Daniel Britt, another part of THIS IS IT) features audio from The Shining to unsettling effect, pairing it with children’s book style illustrations, scrawled over with coloured pencil.
