This month’s featured artist is Peter Millard. Peter has a great collection of films, which are best described as moving drawings placing themselves nicely in the boundaries of drawing and animation. With a distinctive scrawled and naïve style, his films are light hearted, humorous and little bit odd!
Peter is currently studying animation at the Royal College of Art in London, and he has had his films screened at Flatpack Festival, SFF Festival, Flip Animation Festival, Encounters and London Short Film Festival.
Check out the films Custard, Santa Clause and latest film Hogan which won the RCA Daler Rowney Art Prize and received a special mention from Little White Lies at the 9th London Short Film Festival Awards.
