SCREEN Festival – Video Art Barcelona

The 10th edition of SCREEN Festival launches this year at the Francisco Godia Foundation with the exhibition. The eyes of the soul, Lemaitre Collection including the works of Tacita Dean, Ryan Gander and Melik Ohanian.

The international festival runs for two weeks showcasing an array of works from artists involved in video, film and new media. The festival program is presented in various venues around the city of Barcelona and is generated from platforms and partnerships with local and international organisations involved in the field of moving image.

Amoungst the screenings, exhibitions, and lectures, the programme offers:  Mini Screen – an educational project bringing audiovisual art to children; University Program – establishing a series of collaborations with universities from different countries involved in the education of moving image; and What About Production? – a series of presentations discussing insights into film and video producing.
